The most common question our catering desk gets isn't "what should we order" — it's "how much." Here's the rough math we use ourselves when a customer isn't sure.
Start with our bucket sizes
- Chicken Bucket (serves 4–5): ₹1,090 — biryani, chicken 65, onion raitha & dalcha.
- Chicken Bucket (serves 6–7): ₹1,590 — same line-up, scaled up.
- Mutton Bucket (serves 4–5): ₹1,590.
- Mutton Bucket (serves 6–7): ₹2,190.
"Serves" here assumes a full plate per adult guest, with biryani as the main event rather than one of several dishes.
Adjusting for your crowd
- Mixed-age gatherings: children typically eat half portions, so you can stretch one bucket further than the stated headcount.
- Biryani plus other dishes: if you're also serving starters or desserts, you can size down — guests rarely finish a full biryani plate alongside snacks.
- Office lunches: count on one regular-size biryani portion per person, and round up by 10% for second helpings.
- College events and fests: talk to us directly — bulk pricing kicks in past a certain headcount, and we'll quote per-head rather than per-bucket.
When to just call us
Past roughly 30 guests, the bucket math gets less reliable and it's faster to let our catering desk size it properly — we'll ask your guest count, whether kids are included, and what else is on the table, then quote accordingly.
